Black Ink was founded in 2020 and is conveniently located in the Montrose Mall in New Sudbury. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, welcoming environment and providing a relaxed, enjoyable tattoo experience. To ensure maximum comfort and privacy, each artist works from their own private room.
Our tattoo artists are continually refining their skills, exploring new techniques, and pushing their creativity as they develop their next masterpieces. We collaborate closely with every client to design fully custom tattoos that reflect their vision and style.

Shirly
Born and raised in Toronto, Shirly discovered her passion for art at a young age and was always drawn to the world of tattoos. In October 2019, she learned the fundamentals of tattooing at a local Toronto studio, where she quickly fell in love with the craft. Since then, she has explored a variety of tattoo styles to refine her skills and develop her own unique approach. Shirly specializes in black and red, Japanese, floral, and sketch-style tattoos.
Ronin
With more than 5 years of experience in tattooing, Ronin has worked in multiple studios across Vietnam and Toronto.He is able to execute many different tattoo designs and styles; however, he specializes in single needle tattoo designs.
Jory
Has lived all across Ontario, learning from many different artists. Jory was always very art oriented her entire life and picked up any form she could from drawing to sculpting. . In 2019 Jory learned how to tattoo from a friend and local artist in Barrie. She practiced on fake skin developing her own style. She specializes in fine line, nature and colour work.
Salty
Quietly creating tattoos since May 2020. An introverted artist focused on fine line designs, florals, finger tattoos, freehand shading, and stippling
Mai
A budding tattoo artist with a gentle love for finalize work, animals, and nature-inspired designs. As a newcomer to the industry, she approaches each piece with curiosity, patience, and genuine care. Her style focuses on clean, delicate lines and soft, organic details that bring out subtle beauty in every design
